My family and I live in a big house in the Inner West of Sydney, NSW, Australia. We are close to public transport going both north, south and west. It's only about 15 mins to the city centre by bus and by car its a bit longer. My school is about half an hour away by car and my brothers is a similar distance, but takes a bit longer to get to.
My father's name is Craig and he is 30 years older than me. He is a pastor of a Presbyterian church in my suburb. He is a part time rugby referee, reffing various school comps and club teams during the week. He is a big rugby fan, barracking for Australia's Wallabies and NSW'sWarratahs.
My mother, Cathy, had me when she was 23. She is a primary school teacher, like her mother, and works at my school in the primary school as a Religious Education teacher and a Chaplain. Mum likes knitting and buying things off eBay.
My brother, Luke, is 18 months younger than me and is already much taller than me. We are close in ages, but not very emotionally close. He is going through a stage where he is very surly and quite, which means he doesn't talk to me much. He'll come out of it soon enough and I hope that we stay friends even when we've grown up and moved away. Luke plays a lot of basketball and rugby.
Both my parents have one brother (coincidentally both are called David) and are both married. My uncle on my dad's side has recently had a son, Jake, my only cousin. They live up north in Narrabeen.
My Uncle on my mum's side has recently gotten married to an Irish woman. They live down south in Maroubra, and have no children as of now.
My father's mother is a widow and lives in Dee Why, near my uncle. She loves Snoopy- completely adores him, and always looks after him while we are away or on holidays. She has a sort-of boyfriend called Tom, who is part of the family now since he comes with her everywhere. Her husband died quite a while ago of old age- he was much older than her. At the moment she is preparing her house to be sold (which means getting rid of decades of hoarded stuff) because she is moving into a retirement village.

My mother's father is currently is hospital recovering from a leg amputation. From years of alcohol abuse and smoking, he has had to have one of his legs completely removed and part of his other leg amputated. He lives up north near Gosford.
